So the meaning of life is to be Autistic and so overcome the useless, destructive need to conform, consume and obey; thus evolving beyond the rest of life and gain closer access to the central being as your psyche will be more in tune with it?

Check my post above, it gives the scoring indication, 15 for NT females (average), 17 for NT males (average) and 32 above is indicative of autism spectrum disorder with average of 35 scored by HFA/AS individuals.

Sorry - yep, I read that. What I meant was, what does it *really* mean, for me? I suppose it was more a rhetorical question, than anything else... I'll probably never know if I have AS, because I don't relish the thought of going back to my shrink(s) in order to find out. 10+ years of therapy, "musical chairs" with every SSRI in existence, and a diagnosis of depression (possible disthymia?) and severe anxiety disorder (which manifests itself in everything from social phobia to OCD) haven't done anything to help me comprehend or heal from the nightmare that was my entire existence from nursery school through high school...nor has any mental health professional ever been able to tell me anything about myself that I didn't already know. I give up.

I scored a 31. Too low to be autistic and too high to be normal!! ! AAAAARGH!! !! ! I am in limbo.

I wish I had taken the test 5 years ago to compare the results to my current score.

I received a 46 the last time I took the Wired AQ Test.

However, note you will receive the same score for Definitely agree and for Slightly agree as well as the same score for Definitely disagree and Slightly disagree. It seems marking either Slightly or Definitely makes no difference in the scoring.

Everytime I take this test and hit the "Calculate
Score" button, I get an "Internal Server Error"
message.

This is what happened to me too! I got my 17 and 38,
and just finished the EQ(something that had a 50+ type
score setting of if you are autistic), and it crashed
as well, thus never took it again.

Hmmmm?

Auttie34?

What was your score? And no! I don't
dwell on my HFA, I just accept it and
go on with my life.

When on WrongPlanet, I will talk about
it, but outside this website, it isn't
a topic discussed since most wouldn't
understand it, and I do have to live in
a I-Physical world, or in lamens terms,
"The Physical world".

And by the way I will appologize if my
"I don't repeat myself" comments may
have seem directed at members of this
site. They were not! They were directed
at the people I have to deal with
in this I-Physical, or physical world I live
in.

Thus, therefore I will formally appologize
to all that may have taken what I said
wrong, or misread into it as being personally
directed. It was not, and the statement
was a indirect feeling(one of a few
I had this weekend) and not intended
to be taken personally by members of
WrongPlanet.

Most Appologetically,
Ghosthunter

I got a 36, last time I took it I got a 32.

For those of you who are looking, I googled the test and found a location for it that works with calculating.http://www.okcupid.com/tests/take?testid=1982215450153908026
