To answer your question, no. Some have made “improvements” in speech, social skills, cognative function, focusing, motor skills etc. while under going various “treatments” (some experimental , controversial, and even dangerous) i.e. Rx drugs, changes in diet, vitamin regimines, detoxes, ABA and other like therapies, chelation therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy… the list goes on and on. However, I’ve yet to hear of a case of anyone “cured” of Autism. I work in the medical field and in special education.
