Ditto. If your family supports you financially, emotionally and physically then all the better. I had to do it alone and eventually learned that confiding in a therapist was enough. I've been living alone for 2 years now. I believe my symptoms are worse than yours though. I've had over 4000 seizures, lots of panic attacks and mental disorders due to verbal and physical abuse. My case is not the norm. Most people with Aspergers do not need full disability, just emotional support and stability. I wish you the best. Please let us know what you decide.
