Yes, and I hate it. I can have the TV on, fan going along with the dishwasher and still be able to hear the kid two blocks away beating on his drum.

I think I hear better but I was born with a rare low vision disorder so it may be that my hearing is better to help compensate for my sh!tty vision.

What's the rare part? Almost blind?

As far as I can tell, I have an unusually keen sense of smell, very acute hearing, and excellent eyesight (despite hyperopia). No real frame of reference for touch or taste. (though the latter is related to smell, so...probably?)

Out of all the senses, sound is the worst offender when it comes to sensory-overload. While I can get overwhelmed from excessive sound and loud noises, on the flip side I have very good hearing. One example is I can hear a phone ring anywhere in the house even if it is under something and track down its location.

So yes, I think that some Aspies can hear better than NT's.

I don't know if I would say I hear better but it definitely is more sensitive and I tend to notice/get distracted from sounds others don't.

Yes and no.

In my case, my hearing range is wider, further, and more sensitive. To my own plus side, I can handle ranges that are intolerable to an average person. So I get no sensory overload or pain from it.
Downside? I have no hearing filters, and stimuli reaction is rather slow. I mishear things because I hear too much at the same time that I could only hear mix mashing noises, and no voices with any clear word or sentence.

So, I can 'hear well', but I cannot 'listen to voices well'. My only filter is via focus, but that's an all-or-nothing way.

I do hate those who tell me. "You're autistic right? So can I borrow you to snoop on the neighbors because I think they are talking smack about me" Nope. That's not how it works
Feeling like a blade is running through my eardrum when I hear a motorcycle nearby does not constitute excellent hearing. It just means I am sensitive to loudness, but also too much quietness does annoy me to no end when trying to sleep so much I have to keep a fan going in my room even if it is cold just to cancel the high pitch ringing in my ears.

well yeah, it's part of the sensory over-sensitivity right? thought this was like a given.
