Yep , I thought there is nothing wrong with my voice until I hear it recorded , then the questions start - Do I really sound like that to others , Why does my voice sound so different on a recording , why does my brain change what my voice sounds lke etc
Yeah, I can relate to this. When I was a kid I recorded myself on tape doing a show. I sounded awful. As the years have gone, I've been thinking that maybe it was just the low quality of the cassette of the time. Well, yesterday I accidentally recorded myself when trying out a new program. OMG. It sounded even worse than the kid recording. My voice is weird. Do not like it.
Never been given a hard time over this issue though.
