I find it useful for keeping in touch with people I know from abroad and also people I went to university with.

I only check it once a week though and do not have it on my cell phone as the constant beeps and chirps etc from people's updates made me annoyed too much and most of it is nonsense.

Recently I realised I'd isolated too much though and lost touch with some of them who were really good friends.

I plan on using Facebook (as I no longer have their phone numbers) soon when I can get up the guts to write the ones I care about and reckon still care about me to let them know I have been diagnosed HFA so now you know why I was socially awkward at times but now I'd like to get back in touch and meet up etc.

That will take a lot of guts though...

Personally, I find updating them on the HFA status easy. It was a relief to tell my family. The step I never have the guts to make is to give my friends my phone number. Thats a window to my private world I prefer to keep closed.

Myspace was so embarrassing for me. Do you remember the "top 5"? Yeah I was not in anybodies certainly not the people I put on my page. No one talked to me or posted on my page either. Same thing with facebook. It made it easy to give up on the whole thing. But it also showed me I had a best friend but they sure did not agree. :(
