That’s what happened with me. I had a big panic about my eyesight. Still worried about it, but now I can focus more on quirky special interests. At this point in time I welcome my interest in Judaism because that means I’ll have less mental space to worry about my eyesight.

But converting to Judaism doesn't present much physical danger either to you, or to others. So don't worry about it.
I’m mainly worried what my family(don’t really have friends) will think. Especially since I’ve always been against being part of a religion. For now I’m happy listening to Israeli music and getting introduced to reading Hebrew that way. If I actually will convert at least I should be able to read Hebrew.
