Lisa also runs a discord server, you can discuss translations there.

The "Planet Aspie" community has been quite slow at adding subtitles. More translators are needed, I am looking in particular for those who are native English fluent German, and/or those who grew up learning both languages.

Apparently, I have even had growing problems getting help with translations on that server.

Lisa thinks I came there to get the community to pay for a translator, but no, I came to get help with translation. I did try and get someone in the community to pay for a translator, and that's because many good translators only translate for those willing to pay, yet Lisa refuses to see a point in anyone hiring a translator. I am trying to get someone who is native-English-fluent-German involved in this important process.

Do you mind a slightly complicated idea that you could use to translate yourself through the computer?

Why bother if there are human translators volunteering to do the job? Any computer translation will need to be reviewed by a human translator.

To the op.....I don’t think you realize how much time and work it takes to translate, not to mention the years of time and study to become fluent in another language.....there’s a reason why translators ask to be paid for their work, and frankly, to expect someone to ‘volunteer’ to take on a project of this magnitude for no pay just because you prefer a real person translation to a computer aided one is.....ignorant at best, and is disrespectful of someone’s time, knowledge, and training. Would you ask a lawyer to represent you in court for free? Why should a lawyer be paid, but not a translator? If you want someone’s time for a good translation, you need to pay for it, otherwise use digital tools at hand to create a translation yourself.

I do realise how much time it takes, but in spite of that, the author of that video won't pay, claiming that the community can do it for free, the question is, will they? I'm not sure how common it is for well know vloggers to have the funds to hire translators.
On the whole, I just expect someone to take on that project, no specific expectation to get them paid. The thing is that translators are a lot easier to find if they are getting paid. Auto-translations also need to be reviewed by human translators, that function only exists as an assistive tool.

I know someone who was paid for a translation even though it was not used, because the tone was a bit too formal. A translator may also have to be very creative if the second language does not have equivalent words. Adding a sentence of explanation can ruin the flow.
