Going places
Well my family always drives me around where I need to go. They always tell me I need to get my license though because there sick of driving me around. Maybe once that actually happens then I would be actually going places by myself.

I just went to a new cafe today that opened a while ago in my hometown. It's a walking distance away so getting there was no big deal, but I was nervous anyway since I didn't know what kind of place it was, as in what they had and for what price... that stuff always makes me nervous and usually I don't go to new places like that on my own if they don't have enough info up in the internet, but since this one is so close I wanted to see... so in I went and they didn't really have any menus in sight or anything and the prices were weirdly placed... and it was expensive! I mean all cafes tend to have ridiculous prices when compared to how much I'd have to pay for incredents from a shop so I should've known, but it still came as surprise how much a slice of cake cost. Geez, this is one of the reasons I don't like going to cafes... it's no wonder that many people who make way more money than me are often completely broke at the end of the month since they go to places like that a few times a week! And as a cherry on top, the waiter/cashier spoke freaking English! I knew the owner's wife wasn't from around here (saw the fact while looking for info about the cafe in the net), so logically thinking it shouldn't come as surprise if there was a worker or two who would rather speak English, yet it still came out of no where... I'm bad with spoken English, especially if I'm unprepared to hear it and speak it. It seems new places are not for autistic people, or at least not for this one...
Anyway, got a little off topic. Just needed to complain somewhere. I seriously doubt NTs, or at least not most of them, have these kind of problems.

^^ I also consider restaurants a bad value. When I drove cab, I worked three days a week, and took a 1 hr break at home. Most drivers took more breaks, in restaurants, and had to drive five days.
However, restaurants go broke more often than any other business. They are not just selling food; they are renting table space that is of social value to NTs. In the process, they waste a lot of food and other resources.
Many places have poor signage for beginners. I try to go with the intention of reading, so I don't panic if I don't see the one I want for a while. That's a bit like software.
