I have always considered leg shaking and foot wagging a nervous energy type thing than a stim.

I bounce my legs really bad when I'm nervous, but I definitely do less-severe forms of bouncing/tapping/etc. just as a general stim.

I rub my foot on the ground of I'm anxious. I tend to shake it if I'm already relaxing.

i used to do this. now i've mostly moved onto tapping my middle finger against the tip of my thumb, more discreet as long as i don't need my hands.

I do that very often. Also, as previously stated, I shake my legs.

Other things I do: press one of the hands against the ears. Spin around. Speak random words out loud. Rock back and forth.

I do these things mostly when I think there's no one else around. There are times when I'm distracted and I'll do them anyway. If I'm aware, I'll try my best at avoiding them in public.

Do you mean bouncing your foot up and down as if it's on a spring? It could be a stim.

If not it could be dispraxia related.

Yes, I think that my feet (particularly my toes) are often my "anxiety barometer". I waggle my feet and toes, scrunch my toes up, and bounce my leg on my tip-toe a lot when I'm nervous or feeling impatient. I have also always been a tip-toe walker, and pacing on tip-toe is one of my most common stims. At night, I can often have trouble getting comfortable due to Restless Leg Syndrome too - I often wish that I could just detach my legs because they so often feel like they have a life of their own!

Almost always whenever I'm sitting with my feet on the ground, until my wife tells me then I'll stop for a while because often I'm not aware I'm doing it.

Though I do quite a bit of twitching, twist, etc, etc. I don't know whether it's just I've noticed it more or I'm doing it more. Or was it a product of diagnosis, a subconscious reaction.

The foot thing has always been there.
