I learned that people may feel fear but learn how to conceal it so they appear to be more confident but to us look very thick skinned. It is deceptive and they are still fearful. My view is controversial but by paying attention to peoples reactions to negative things and matching them to mine, I see that they simply just hide them better.

oh that's very interesting! Thanks so much, i'll keep that in mind as it seems a useful piece of knowledge :)

I have trained myself to read people a bit. Most people feel a lot of social anxiety and try to restrict themself a lot in social sitiuations for not getting judged because of anything. But it's totally wrong to adapt to much. It's better to be self confident and your own way. Your own self-confidence is quite important for your social state. That doesn't mean to act like an idiot. You have to act like somebody who is indepedent of others and knows about his own importance. To be this way helps to improve your social state. Nobody really cares about people who always try to adapt.

Yeah, I totally agree with that. It's exactly what I need to learn to do.
