Just an opinion, but that sounds a lot like (stressed-induced) anxiety to me.

Ok. I can think of this now. Anxiety due to a stressful enviroment. :)

Ooh. I go into a sudden unexplained sweat at doctors and when I talk I clam up... I don't know what arrythmia and tychycardia are.

Basically, your heart beats very fast and skips a beat once in a while.

That's it, anxiety due to stressful environment, you get it.

All "tachycardia" means is "fast heartbeat."

The "normal" heart beats in a certain rhythm. When the rhythm is not the usual rhythm, it's called "arrhythmia." Most of the time, arrhythmia is harmless. I have a little bit of it myself, but it's harmless.

Had it in work yesterday or the day before where I suddenly started sweating like mad and heart started to race. Was due to not coping with the suddenness of a change of plan which had to be done quick.

Never used to get this but thw last few years I have.

I have the same feelings through out the day when I have nightmares and leave me without more than four hours of sleep for the night. I have found that drinking a mix of a sports drink like Gatorade and a certain energy drink that I found that has very little caffeine and a ton of stuff in certain vitamins seem to help alleviate some of the problems I hav with stress.

Interesting. I keeep off sports drinks as artificial sweetners tend to cause my throat to close up. The problem in the UK is nearly all drinks now have artificial sweetners since our government decided to introduce a sugar tax. Even many foods now have them which is really annoying. My Mum has it as well. It is how I realized wha was happening.

Plan B, if the options for a beverage aren't good for you, look into some other ideas for consuming copius amounts of B vitamins and electrolytes. I haven't looked up the actual nutrition info, but it might be an option to add a bit of salt and such to some sort of smoothie made with the right ingredients.

Is there something called “vitamin water” in the U.K.?

Eating bananas is also good for your electrolyte balance.

The vitamin water is a good idea, but likely will run into the same problem as my plan A on sports drink. The how is it sweetened issue.

By feeling, do you mean a sensory experience, or an emotion?

I experience stress as a sensory experience, but the emotional aspect is differentiated.

In me, the sensory experience could lead to the emotional experience.....and vice versa.

For me, stress almost has no physical feeling at all apart from a slight pressure feeling? As if I was wearing a hat? It is more of that I find myself tensing up or I simply start entering a partial shutdown. The strange thing is that all will seem fine and I can have little warning until I start having a partial shutdown, and then I think "What caused that?" And then I realize that I am stressed as I realize I feel that pressure.
It is strange as stress has very little feeling for me other then what I call "Indicators". Put it this way. It is only a couple of years ago when I was shutting down that afterwards my Mum said "I can tell you were stressed". I realized that the secondary feelings which could indicate more then one thing, hence why it is difficult to define. I can't seem to think yet along the "Emotional feelings" yet as I need to think for a bit to work out the diffeeence in my mind about emotion and feelings... (One thing at a time!)

Stress and your health
Stress is a feeling of emotional or physical tension. It can come from any event or thought that makes you feel frustrated, angry, or nervous.

Stress is your body's reaction to a challenge or demand. In short bursts, stress can be positive, such as when it helps you avoid danger or meet a deadline. But when stress lasts for a long time, it may harm your health.
Stress and anxiety

Considerations

Stress is a normal feeling. There are two main types of stress:
•Acute stress. This is short-term stress that goes away quickly. You feel it when you slam on the brakes, have a fight with your partner, or ski down a steep slope. It helps you manage dangerous situations. It also occurs when you do something new or exciting. All people have acute stress at one time or another.
•Chronic stress. This is stress that lasts for a longer period of time. You may have chronic stress if you have money problems, an unhappy marriage, or trouble at work. Any type of stress that goes on for weeks or months is chronic stress. You can become so used to chronic stress that you don't realize it is a problem. If you don't find ways to manage stress, it may lead to health problems.

STRESS AND YOUR BODY

Your body reacts to stress by releasing hormones. These hormones make your brain more alert, cause your muscles to tense, and increase your pulse. In the short term, these reactions are good because they can help you handle the situation causing stress. This is your body's way of protecting itself.

I think I must have had it for a long time as the last few years I have had throat tensing up issues. :(
