Yes, that was sarcasm.

Women often act like I am invisible to them.

I have a unique way of looking at the world. I see different shapes and colours. I also see different patterns. I also see these things in a bright and sunny way. I'm able to self-isolate and social distance. There are a lot of people who have a real problem with social distancing because they like to be really close to each other. I'm also able to focus on my hobbies and interests for a very long time and that helps me to follow through on completing my projects. I even have my own interests because I'm not taken in and influenced by the latest celebrities and gossip.

My thinking is both extraordinarily analytical and extraordinarily associative, which allows me to very rapidly see patterns and to come up with creative ideas. The pattern recognition also applies to people--I've sometimes sensed a wrongness about a person almost immediately and then fruitlessly tried to warn others--only to for them to realize , too late, I was correct.

I don’t do it just around women (or men), I do it with everyone. Now I just need to figure out how to turn this power off.

Generally, one of the most important attributes that Asperger's bring to the table is "Out of Box Thinking". I see solutions to problems that NT's cannot conceive of. Most solutions are really very simple; they are intuitive.

I don't have any.

It's that bad.

I'm f*****g terrible at maths, I've been repeatedly chided for my poor attention to detail, I've always required handholding at work, etc. etc.

How often do you get to have an "I told you so" moment that doesn't backfire on you?

I don't try to count coups, but one time, I'd been working on a very special boat, doing the engineering of a lot of unique features. We even had a film crew for the launch, and they happened to catch the same guy looking at the propeller and scoffing at it before the launch, and then yelling "Look at that thing go!" right after, even at low power.

I've been told that I have novel (original) perspectives in viewing old things in new ways e.g., what's old is new again - yet too much of what's new is viewed in the same-old same-old ways. Lately, these perspectives have, more often than not, proven to be of value.

RELATED: I have much interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) TECH. esp. AI TECH's goals towards algorithms which might understand context in content - e.g., flagging fake-news, objectionable content, etc.

TECH orientated people with AS (even those not involved in developing AI TECH.) might just understand best the hows
& whys of AI TECH. development are important.

Things I can do: Intense work focus; attention to detail; finding patterns; finding solutions (preferably simple ones).

Do I wish to lose the above in favour of being neuro-typical? Yes. I'm not suggesting other Aspies aren't happy with being Aspies and/or their super-powers, I'm just referring to myself. So, please don't criticise me. As there are occasions I struggle communicating with others, I'd give up my 'super-powers' in favour of blending in a bit more.
