Maybe you should try a different line of work... ?

In Silicon Valley that's not much of a problem. Everybody just quietly rocks in their cube.

Good time for that, since I've just been let go from yet another job. Problem now is noone believes that there's any bullying going on... after all, if four different workplaces all have some manager bullying me, the common factor is me - therefore it MUST be me! I must be causing trouble... maybe what the managers are accusing me of was true all along! Even my wife has lost faith in me.

So, in short... I need work - but it HAS to be compatible, or it'll just be yet another spectacular failure and more injuries to my critically-low self-esteem.

I'm a high school aspie looser turned sociopath. Things have never looked better (for me at least).

Post your cure, but keep it concise. This string might actually help some of you delusional, misguided, slackers.

Get all the social exposure you can, and learn as much social science theory as your brain will hold. You might well never develop an "instinctive" understanding of NT thought processes and social norms, but an intellectual and experiential understanding is far better than none at all.

Use what you have learned to seem at least mostly normal, and get what you want out of life.

what your asking is a very broad question, what exactly, in yuor own mind, keeps you from being happy, and why

I was exaggerating a bit, but everywhere I have worked that had 50+ IT employees had at least a few people that I regularly came into contact with that were somewhere on the spectrum, and in the bigger companies one could never know how many there were. I'd guestimate the aspie/HFA population in places like that to be at least 5%, and saw few problems related to it. Just don't let anybody talk you into a promotion into management, or your life will become an endless meeting. Stick with the techie stuff and it's smooth sailing.
