So how would you picture someone without an avatar?

I associate people with their avatars, unless someone shows me a real picture or gives me a very detailed description, generally.

Dumb girls I'll associate with blonde hair and "cheerleading".

I'm hoping you won't find that sort here.

I'vae already come across a few people like that here and ignore them. I don't know if they have blonde hair, but meh.

Please be advised. My avatar only resembles me during a major Tourette's attack. I do not always look like this.

It never occurred to me to even try to picture what any of you look like, and now that idea's been suggested, I can't. My facial recognition is not superb and I find it difficult to imagine a face I have seen, let alone one that I haven't!

I already know. Do you mind if I share?

I do associate some avatars with faces (particulary beebee) but generally I do not.

I have trouble looking at Prometheus' avatar...

Yeah, sorry. I'm in a library so I would rather stay more. . . .anonmonys.

I'm going to change it when I go back to school b/c I have more privacy on their computers. (partitions as compared to the open desks at the library)

(( anonymous ))

When I think of WP as a whole, I picture the logo at the top, or some sort of mix of Blue and Green.

When I think of eahc person, I usually picture their face if I know it. If I don't know their face then I'll use their Avatar. If they don't have an Avatar, then unfortunately they probably won't be remembered :? 8O  :(

GH says I look like my avatar, except that there is much more gray in my hair.

It's kind of funny but i really don't associate posters with images. I do form images as soon as I hear a voice though. Hmmmm.

I usually picture a person's avatar. I had to change my avatar because I started to believe I looked like Gargamel!

I don't picture what people look like as much as I imagine how the voice sounds or if they're from a foreign country, I hear accents whenever I read their posts.

As for avatars, it's hard to even acertain who's male or female much less their personality.

How do I sound when you read my Posts?

I, too, picture people as their avatars, with a few exceptions for people whose photos have stuck in my mind, like ghosthunter, pugly, hale-bopp, purplefluffychainsaw and several others. Some people I associate with their past avatars, like Nayashi, TallGirl and CockneyRebel
Funny how many of us associate BeeBee so strongly with her avatar picture! I, too would be very weirded out if I met her and she didn't look like that picture!!
