I've had some odd things happen to me, that caused me to think of the word "miracle." Or luck. One, was I was driving a car that had numerous problems, and was always stalling. I was driving home one night, and had just turned onto a busy street, in rush hour traffic. I felt the car shudder, and knew that it was going to shut off. There were at least ten cars approaching me from the rear, that would definitely hit the car if it stopped suddenly. I tried to speed up to a reach a service station about one block ahead, but the car stalled anyway. I steeled myself for the impact of being rear ended, but the cars seemed to have vanished. I was able to re-start the car, and then steer it into the service station.
Two, I had stopped at the public library to make some photo copies. I had taken out my wallet, which contains all my ID, credit cards, money, etc and placed it on one of the tables. When I was done, I left, and caught a bus to do some shopping. After we'd ridden several blocks, I realized that I had left my wallet. I got off the bus and rushed back to the library, praying no one had stolen my wallet, even though the chances were slim. It must have taken me a good ten minutes to get there. When I arrived, my wallet was still sitting right where I had left it! And it was a busy Saturday, with lots of people milling around.
