Am easily nauseated & disgusted, both physically & mentally.
Being transported in a vehicle makes me feel "motion-sick", though I haven't thrown up from that since childhood-I just avoid going places except when necessary. Haven't much tolerance for vestibular input (think that's what I mean, moving or being moved physically). Can't stand "amusement park" rides such as roller coasters, terrified of heights (when not in grounded enclosure) so can't bear being on ferris wheel.
Emetophobia-fear of throwing up or of others doing so. Seems a pretty sensible fear, I'm afraid of throwing up sensing/perceiving anyone do so (or encountering the repulsive aftermath). Haven't thrown up in several years, and have only done so a few times since I've been old enough to remember.
Am squeamish, easily grossed-out, can't watch or pay attention to many things that are considered mainstream entertainment or clinical information. I get too intensely negatively disgusted, feel sickened-but I don't throw up-because that would be even worse (more upsetting). I often feel the tightening in my throat & the 'lurch' of my stomach, but can suppress it after a several long seconds-and remove myself from the offending stimulus.
