Well, I'm ready to pull my hair out! I've tried three times to read this article. When I zoom the page out so I can read the incredibly tiny print, it won't let me scroll down, or turn the page. Argggh!

Yet another of the many "pretty" things in the magazine. There seems to only be ONE way to do anything. In this case, the ONLY way to see the rest of the page is to click&drag. I.e. the same as works with Google maps.

Actually, I can't recall. Maybe there is another way... zoom out the zoom back in on a different spot. Yeah, like that's a natural way of reading!

The people who designed this magazine software don't seem to understand why content is moving onto the web and they seem to hold the faulty belief that online magazines should mirror print ones. Yet another example of an old organization completely misunderstanding the concept of the Internet. At least they understand it's important.

Talk about a usability nightmare...

I did follow the link and I got the other magazine cover not the one Alex was on. I will try once more.

You can right click and select SAVE PAGE to save as PDF, which I think is easier than reading it online.

could someone copy and paste the text ? Be sure to keep the bylines and copyrights'. This is fair use of the text please post it someone. or even save the pages than make a pdf file of said page. Better tell them to have it in many diffrent formats for dowhloading. for example pdf,doc.odf, even plain text Thanks

I already tried that, but the whole text appears as question marks, like this: "??? ???? ????? ???? ???"

I really enjoyed it. It was a pleasant surprise to read the portions on Alex's Girl friend. They are both good spokes-people for the Aspie community.

The software on the site really has some serious issues.

It's unusable by a large proportion of people.

I can use it, but it's just painful.

Just out of interest, I emailed a "link" to myself - the email came through twice, but with no link in either copy.

The "print" option only allows five pages at a time.

The "Options" allow you to un-tick "Page Animations". It doesn't work. The pages still animate.

Do you know if they intend to make the magazine available in any non-online fashion? If they did, I would probably read it regularly.

Other than reading the article on you (as you've provided above, in a format that's convenient offline), I doubt I'll work up the energy/persistence/tolerance to read the rest of even that one issue online.
