I do as well. But is it an AS trait? Don't neurotypical people like to do things like that as well?

Yes. Perhaps for different reasons. Perhaps for the same ones. Either way, it's interesting to explore the topic with similar people. :)

Definitely. I've had for many years the urge to just take off, by train or on foot, and go as far as my legs will take me. I'm tired of seeing the same old things, day after day. It's easy to feel like"anyplace is better than here", and I'd love to get away from all of the obligations that chain me to this place.

I think the difference is that we like to travel solo, which is still seen as strange by some people.

Feel that way sometimes. Once i got in my car and just drove for awhile. Came back after a couple days. Lost my job though.
