A pat on the back from me for telling someone - that girl sounds like she needs help desperately - it chills me just reading it.

The police are naturally intimidating - it goes with their work.

Don't go out looking for your cat while those beasts are roaming - especially if it's nighttime. Cats are good at looking after themselves - our cats have been "lost" hundreds of times in their lives - sometimes for a week but they always turn up somewhere in a healthy state.

Those beasts sound absolutely DEATHLY. If my suspicions are correct I hope they get arrested and then taken back in time to medieval times for their punishment (the time travel won't be the punishment - the punishment will be the punishment  ).

Anyway, take it easy and you'll be all good. Make sure the doors are locked. Punks like that always get sorted out in the end. Though I am praying for that girl.

It sounds like she was into prostitution or something if you said she was being paid. She sounded in considerable distress though, and it was good of you to help her.

Do you feel you are very independent?

I feel better now. I'm Really not sure what was going on, but I'm pretty sure the police have helped her. where I live is a smallish town and we don't really have prostitutes, but...it was scary... and My cat came back. he's dirty and hot and red and his feet are scratched up. I really hope that girl was ok though.

Do you think you were able to take a stand before you eventually saw what happened and it got worse?

Er....Yes...? I guess the police took care of it, but I guess my talking to them, and telling them where it was going on and stuff helped.

Calling the police was absolutely the right thing to do. Don't worry about getting anyone into trouble. The police will investigate this fully, and if they get into trouble, it will be because they deserve it.

I'm glad your cat came back. Make sure he has plenty of water to drink. Encourage him to drink if you can.
