Rescue Remedy and Bach Flower are mentioned frequently on the cat site I frequent. Which reminds me of one of the best anxiety busters there is, the company of a cat or pet in general.

I miss my cats.

Cats really are amazing. Every time I was ever hurt or down my cats would both become glued to my side, I couldn't get rid of them, they were intent on purring and jumping on me and trying to make me feel better, bless their hearts. But I shall see them soon!

It's stomach folks. Let's be civilized here. You gut a fish. Gut is a spitty smelly boyish word--you know blood and guts and all that stuff.

Why oh why do people insist on this word? It sounds so primal.

I equate "gut" with intestines, not with the stomach, though technically I suppose if you gut something you take out all the innerds not just the ones of the digestive system...

I personally dislike the word "jabs" for vaccinations. Gives me the creeps for some reason. Shot is fine.

That's a really strange thing to say, given that if they're actually truly homeopathic (I'm not sure if that's being used to mean "natural", which it doesn't, or actual homeopathy), then they don't contain any of the active ingredient.

Hmm.

I tend to say "bowels" or "intestines", since I am trying to be precise and the kind of stomachache being described isn't in the stomach. (And my real stomach does hurt frequently, so I prefer to differentiate upper or lower digestive tract at the least, especially since I have trouble differentiating locations of sensations as it is.)

They developed in the 20s by a homeopath called Bach. He came up with around 30 flower-based homeopathic remedies for specific problems... Rescue Remedy is the most widely used and known of them. And if they're homeopathic they DO contain the remedy, just in extremely small amounts.

Extremely small does not equal 'none'.
