I am not even sure what depressed me anymore. I can hear horrible stories, immerse myself in reading about personal accounts of genocide, and other brutalities. Yet, I've never cried or felt sad about it. I just say to myself "This is the world we live in" and move on.

I remember crying this or last year and even then I was confused as to why I was crying. I wasn't sad or depressed--let alone the fact that I don't cry. I guess it was a way of my body showing me what and how others feel. Somehow it had a positive effect on me. :hmph:

Thinking about the past, or the future depresses me. Seeing crowds of people depresses me. The strangeness of my own existence depresses me.

I get depressed by my own depression and the thought of never getting out of it, and the thought of never being able to hold a job or anything.

Right now I don't have the brain for more global concerns but a few years ago I was very depressed about the end of the world.

Watching shows like CSI and Law & Order depresses me. My mom loves those shows, unfortunately.

I can never see the appeal of watching Death TV.
