I used to do the same thing as a kid and throw fits if i wasnt allowed to look at the items in a store. Usually i had to be called a few times because i was enthralled with something and nothing else existed at the moment. I could see how the scent of a craft store would over stimulate someone. I know i can spend hours in a craft store with all the beads, and fabrics and sculpie and....ahhh. I could see why he would not want to leave. I sure wouldnt. Its like being taken out of a whole store of treasures to look at.
