Although a slight difference I see in some here is that you CHOOSE to do things the hard way. In my case, there are times when I'm simply UNABLE to do things the easy way. This goes even for such elementary childhood activities as learning how to snap my fingers, whistle, and climb a tree.
My own special spot in the "doing it the hard way" realm is a little more than "choose", and a little less than "unable" to choose not; feels kinda like an OCD thing? I tell myself that I could choose otherwise; but I do not, even when it would be more beneficial to do so.
[private="the_pheonix"]I've never introduced myself here at all.

I just started talking one day, and never stopped.

And nobody noticed!
Nobody knows who I am, and I prefer to keep it that way. Please don't tell anyone, the_pheonix! Don't worry, I won't blow your cover before you're ready to introduce yourself.
The ordering of things is often arbitrary; ignore if the order does not suit you. That's what I always do.
Um... Unless I'm unable to choose not to and I don't realize it.

Perhaps I'm stuck in an infinite "the hard way" loop of never introducing myself, and I don't even realize it.
