Besides, Stephen King is dry now.

Drinking never solved anything. There are better ways to deal with problems.

Please please please stop. It's NOT really working, you're just not as aware of how you're acting. It's NOT helping you fit in any better even if you think it does.

You're only going to end up making your life even harder in the long run.

Alcohol makes me sit and cry in a corner. If I drink a lot of it it makes me hallucinate. Not that it's really an issue. Nightclub = instant meltdown.

My one and only experience with alcohol was not a good one. My parents and siblings will say otherwise, though. They got a good many laughs.

I'd prefer marijuana to liquor. Marijuana used to make me much more 'lively' and sociable. Liquor just makes me stupid. Liquor is too dehydrating.

But lately, marijuana has been exacerbating certain anxieties. It didn't used to do that until about 4 months ago. Apparently, it's not normal for it to cause people to hallucinate, but it has done that to me and I'd merely think it was mushroom flashbacks triggered by the herb, but I read an article describing that people with abnormally low lithium content in their brains will hallucinate off of it. I could very well be one of them. Last time I tried it, I nearly went psychotic, pulling on my hair and trying to block out noises from the room I was in with my friend(he was watching a movie). Thus, I've dramatically cut back on consumption.

You are COMPLETELY wrong!! !! 4-5 drinks makes me an incredibly fun person to be around! More than that can turn out really bad. Less than that, I am still a fun person, but just not as much fun.

Yes, I will probably die from liver failure, but as least I will enjoy my life while I am alive.

I agree. Too bad I have to force myself to drink alcohol in order to be social. I'm ok being the boring person that i am though :(

Same here.I also start to feel sleepy.
Even if drink does help some people to lose their inhibitions,I don't think it's beneficial in the long run. It's the equivalent of building on
any old ground, that might be too soft.
Sooner or later it's all going to give way.
Better to build on solid foundations.

Life is too short and it is better to die young having lived a happy life than endure a long miserable existence. So I'd happily sacrifice many years off my lifespan for a few years of happiness under influence of alcohol. unfortunately alcohol doesn't work as well on me as others it seems.
