Wise quote :D I try to grow up too fast, but it doesn't work anyways, which I'm glad for I suppose :D

Me too!

Y'know, my therapist always says it's okay to like something as long as it doesn't hurt you or anyone else.

I play video games and I'm 32, so no it's not odd to like Barbies at 16. Hope this helps!

Its odd to like Barbies at any age.

There right up there with clowns and porcelin masks-plain creepy!

My opinion only.....squeezes the stuffing out of carebears and plastic dragons, tee hee.

I agree with Age1600. It's kind of sad how much people lose of themselves as they grow up. Embrace what's left! Definitely don't be ashamed.

Here's a website with information on the National Barbie Doll Collectors Convention that may interest you:

National Barbie Doll Collectors Convention

There are definitely adults who still love Barbie Dolls. I met one once. Am not personally into them, but know that you're not alone. :)

Almost everybody keeps something from their childhood - whether it is love for toys, cartoons, games, certain blankets, etc... there are people who enjoy talking like babies from time to time...
and there's infantilism, but I digress...

It's not a bad thing. Much to the contrary, it's good and important to keep in touch with one's inner child. Maybe other people are not into barbies anymore, but those uber mature ladies may as well suck their thumb while they're asleep or something.

:D That comment probably helped me the most, though now I'll start laughing when I see those "uber mature ladies" because I can't help but think of them sucking their thumbs

You can never hit a girl Berserker, let alone a Barbie girl :D
