LOL. So I've been told. ;)

I have an infatuation with Sweeny Todd too. I have the whole thing (almost) memorised and will act out the parts with myself. I have seen it on the stage twice. I saw the movie...but was a wee tad dissapointed because of some of the changes. I have fantasised for years about being in a small-stage production of it...even if I am just in the chorus....but really I would like to be the "half-crazed beggar woman"
Alllllms Allllms for a desparate woomaaaan......don't I know you mister....yeah...i know I stumbled on the line between those two.....
(and now Mrs. Lovetts entrance is jangling through my head...Wait what's your rush what's your hurry you gave me such a fright I thought you were a ghost half a minute won't you sit sit you down sit......something something oh i haven't seen a customer in weeks....
um.....

I am obsessed with dolls.
I make them and I collect them and have been doing so since I was a child.
I own dozens of mismatched homemade raggedy annes and Andys....
Homemade toys in general. I collect, and have numerous sub-catagories....
I play with them too......

I'd love to see pics of your ambulances and hearses! (I won't be able to have one of my own for quite a while, I'm afraid . . . )

I will post a pic of my Raggedy Anne collection. I just got a new one today. She is an anomaly...brunette, with darker than average skin....I love finding strange anomalies within the Raggedy gene pool...like vertically striped legs, and really crazy non-traditional color patterns

Like this one, which is the strangest to date:

Image

The one i got today is my second strangest as far as color scheme...i can't post a pic because I can't find my camera.

Finding Raggedies at the thrifty store is like a drug to me.

I also scored two 1920's Baby dolls for 2$ each......I call them Baby Dumpling and Ennis.
Baby Dumpling is very cuddly, but she has a bad concussion and is missing an arm.
Ennis is smaller and her face is very cracked up, but she has hand-painted blinky eyes that seem to open and close when you least suspect it. I love them.

for me, it's all about action figures, history, and '80s memorabilia.

I also love reading up on history( mostly cultural history), business history, and the entertainment industry( and no, I don't mean the celebrity the paparazzi are after THIS week...I refer to actually IMPORTANT entertainment information...

Books about Ferrari. Model Ferraris. Pictures of Ferraris that I modify in Photoshop so they look like paintings.

<-- compulsive modeler, but with cars. Static and radio control.

Old Caddys in any form are just cool. '58 through '74... but mine are all 1/24 scale...
My automotive obsession lies with VW. Won't have anything else.

I like pretending that my favorite anime characters are my friends and personal army. Kind of childish considering my age, but my therapist said it's a creative and intelligent alternative to having real friends (which is too difficult for me for multiple reasons).

Something I've never mentioned to anyone before is that I really enjoy memorizing the names of the English voice actors of my favorite anime characters (which is no small feat considering how many I count among my favorites). I can name most of them off the top of my head.

I also have a certain fixation with male pregnancy (mpreg). A lot of people get weirded out by it, but I've noticed that there are quite a few ladies who enjoy it just as much as I do, so I'm not a total weirdo.

I used to be obsessed with floor plans. Especially for new construction houses. Not buildings, just personal homes.

I also used to have a whole fantasy world growing up, and instead of just daydreaming I wrote about it.

Collected a lot of maps, too, of nowhere in particular.

I'd probably still have weird obsessions except I don't have a whole lot of time these days :P
