I don't know if I'm any help - this happened quite by accident. Was trying to get 6yo to try some ham and he did his usual *I don't like it*. Anyway, I said *well it's probably good as I'm pretty sure the naturopath said it is something you shouldn't really have anyway* and you wouldn't believe it! Now he has ham sandwhiches all the time! But it can only be honey ham, not anything else lol Talk about accidental reverse pshychology
Am curious though - out there in aspie land.... my son will sniff something first. If he doesn't like the smell there is absolutely no chance it will go in his mouth. Is this typical aspie thing or just one of his own personal quirks?

If it's not an aspie thing, I have the same personal quirk.
If you take a really high end prosciutto... I'll eat it until the cows come home. I love bacon, love pork roast or pork chops but ham and backbacon... yuck and it's all because of the smell.
