Is it possible to have both NLD and Aspergers?

actually there is only a 20% difference between NLD and aspergers

I'm interning in a school for children with autism currently, and I've heard the term "mandate" used a lot. For instance, some kids have group mandates (they receive speech therapy in a group), while others have individual mandates (they receive speech therapy individually). Most of the kids have speech mandates (they receive speech), and only 3/120+ kids in the school don't.

NLD is not a DSM-IV-TR diagnosis. The concept of NLD was developed separately by neuropsychologists. Some folks, like this guy, think that the neuropsychologists were observing the same underlying condition as Asperger's - just labeling it differently.
