I sleep with two comforters, a heating blanket, and a throw blanket over me because I like to be over heated

plus I swear the others in my house are polar bears, 23 degrees Celsius (73.4 Fahrenheit) is way too cold

but yes I like the lead apron - for it is warm

i know that the lead apron they use on me at the hospital weighs 35 pounds... mind you thats over a third of my body weight.... it is awesome... its one of the PVC coated ones (PVC is that soft smooth latexy type stuff) it is really warm, only thing is it gets sticky after a little bit, but i like that over heated sticky feeling :D

do you like wearing things that get hot and sticky? i have no choice with my neoprene harness on my powerchair, but i purposefully when me and mom sit on the porch i purposefully sit facing right into the sun for that really hot feeling... the harness gets very hot and feels awesome haha...

Yeah i love feeling warm. But, im not very fond of sunlight. It hurts my eyes, so i tend to spend very little time in the sun. You wont catch me on a beach any day soon. But cuddling up and getting all hot feels very relaxing and comfortable to me. Im often like this with clothes as well, i usually wear warmer clothes than whats really needed.

one thing i dream of doing is going ffor x-rays and stealing every lead apron in the hospital and piiling all of them on top of me... my hospital has 10 x-ray room with 5 aprons in each so thats 50 aprons times 35 pounds for each apron heheheeh... it would be extremely heavy and warm :D

Hehehe sounds like fun. Although, wouldnt it get too heavy for one person to have all that ontop of him/herself? :P

I was wondering... Is it possible, i mean.. Since one has a "disability" as society calls it.. Maybe it could be possible to actually get one of those as a "special needs" thingy? I think it certainly would be possible here in Norway, healthcare is good here. I cant really think of anything one can do with these things that are actually dangerous either...

dont even bother passing it through the govornment healthcare system... i doubt they will pay for it... but they are not that expensive... the average PVC coated one with 35 pounds is about 150 dollars... the HD (heavy duty) is about 45 pounds and runs about 200-250 dollars... i plan on buying one when i have the money and am not afraid of my parents questioning me about it

Yeah, they are easy to find... just go on ebay.. and put in lead apron... lots of different options in fabric... the warmest is the PVC... but it is also the stickiest...
