There are definitely people I am more conformable with then others. I've found that talking to people older then me(about twice my age) is much easier then talking to a young person the same age as me. Even in school, I'd talk to certain teachers more then certain students. Older people are more mature so I feel more conformable around them and to tell them about my feelings. I also tend to be more comfortable around people who are simply nice to me and try to make an effort to talk to me, while I can't feel comfortable around those who don't.

Yes, there are only certain people whom I can actually be myself around. 2 out of every 3 of them are on the autism spectrum. The 3rd is usually a family member.

Some people, when I'm with them, I just don't see any point in talking very much. But with others, I'll talk about anything. This has to do with their personalities. I'm generally more open around quiet and introverted people.

I suppose so. Just interested in knowing what types of persons that may be.

O, and I don't feel threatened/uncomfortable around young children; I like being around my nephew and niece.

I'm most comfortable around people who either are Aspies themselves , have strong Aspie-like traits, or non-Aspies who are very quirky. These are the people who "get" me the most and share my interests and type of humor.

People who are younger, that I've known for ages, or I get on well with quirky people, about half of my little group of close friends at school are aspies (my school has stacks of them, 5 in my year!)

I'm more comfortable around WrongPlanet people than I am around anyone else in the world. I want to live with WrongPlanet people, in a big apartment building with just Auties, Aspies, ADHD people and people with PDD-NOS in it.

I'm more confortable with people who don't wait me to speak and don't ask me questions ! :oops:

But the best is to be alone in a place...
