Sickness Quotient: 64%
Hmmm, your Sickness Quotient of 64% is a little worriesome.

Detailed Diagnosis

* Interpersonal Insights
You think everyone is out to get you, and you're absolutely right. It's because you're an awful person without any redeeming qualities. You never give up and refuse to settle for less than the best. In other words, you're impossible to please and you never shutup.

* Job Performance & Attitude
Your work is of so little value they should just put a shredder in place of your Out basket You aspire to becoming the CEO of a large, powerful company. This is unlikely since you rarely leave your parent's basement.

* Personality Insight
Your personal motto is "If you can’t make them think, make them wonder." Trust us- you've succeeded beyond your wildest dreams.

I think this test is right on. Did any one else see a Gucci bag? How about two Dr. Seuss characters peeking out of a dribbling monkey head?

I x'd out of it before I could really do anything about the results previously, and when I go through with the exact same answers, i get a different result everytime. I guess the results are pretty random. Annoying.

Anyway, the first one was right on. IT was the one that says

You have no real friends, but keep buying the beer and they'll hang out with you
You want to be CEO but you won't because you won't leave your parent's basement
A bunch of things about how I suck and the test knows it
And my favorite that was so right on was my motto... Hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Then it says I suck at preparation so it doesn't matter.

:lmao:

Am I the only one who can't usually see anything in ink blots?

I took the effort to write in my own answers, which were typically things like "two witches dancing around a campfire". I got an 84% or something like that, but if you push "re-tabulate results" it just keeps giving you a random score.

Fairly amusing, but I really out to be going to sleep now.

Your not going to believe this Wanda, but "Two witches dancing around a campfire" was one of my answers, or I should say that answer was the first to come to my mind. In those exact same words. Actually, it looked like three if you count the one in the forefront, but since the other two seemed to be holding hands and the one in the front wasn't holding hands with either, I just said two witches, etc. Great minds think alike, huh? But that's not the answer I put down because I thought it was too bizzare. So I studied it a little more and said "A continent with an x-shaped body of water in the center and an island in the center of the body of water." now tell me you saw that as an option as well and I'll start thinking we are telepathic  twins separated at birth.

It IS a stupid test. Here were MY results:

Test Results

Sickness Quotient: 60%
Your Sickness Quotient" of 60% is hardly cause for concern.

Detailed Diagnosis

Interpersonal Insights
Everyone likes you. This is because your life is such a mess that everyone else is relieved they aren't you. You think everyone is out to get you, and you're absolutely right. It's because you're an awful person without any redeeming qualities.

Job Performance & Attitude
You have a deep love for your patients, which is unfortunate since you're a veterinarian. You have little empathy for anyone more successful at work than you, which is pretty much everyone.

Personality Insight
Your personal motto is "Be a traveller in Life, not a tourist." But you're the kind of person that can't even get a temporary visa.

I just wish I could find the set my psychologist showed me! 9 out of ten looked like indian squaws! They looked human, with protrusions that could only be seen as breasts, and protrusions at the top that looked like a feather. The psychologist said that indicated I was interested in girls, I was 6. Although I WAS interested in girls, indians were the LAST things on my mind, and I didn't see girls EVERYWHERE!

BTW the answers I gave on THIS test were ONLY ones I could see some logic in, and NOT what I likely would have said. Though one I would have, at first, said was a mask, a given choice, ANOTHER I would have said was a crushed car, which was NOT a given choice.

i am still disturbed by my 94% sickness quotient....
still....the left-field thinkers would all get over 90 i suppose on that category, so maybe i am in good company.
time will tell.
as it stands, everyone who has posted seems pretty normal on the sickness front.

I usually have to think a bit to see a picture in more than 30% of them. In THIS set, I basically saw a mask and a smashed car. In other sets, I have seen some animals, butterflies, ladybugs(may beetles, flying insects that are shapped almost like a VW bug and colored red with black polkadots), and other insects.

I think the GOAL is to try and see if there is a pattern to what you see, You might see guns, attacks, sex acts, etc....

I guess you and I are just too honest, etc....

I took the inkblot test at the hospital with a psychologist and it wasn't multiple choice or "check those that apply", I could say anything about the ink blot that I wanted and he would write it down and then check a book to see if what I described was in there. If it wasn't, he noted abnormality and possible psychosis. And he would note if what I said was morbid or whatever. Which he did with the stuff I said that was in the book too.

The result of the test was that my depression was making me not see things properly, but that I wasn't quite psychotic. It said that I was angry and depressed, especially angry, and might have had a perception difference/problem unrelated to the depression too, but he wasn't sure. It had feeling trapped in it. My result also had narcissism in it, but he didn't believe that I was narcissistic and said that the book took the fact that I saw reflections in water in some of the ink blots too literally to be narcissism.

Psychologists wouldn't ask you such leading questions. They usually want to know what sticks out to you. Computers are stupid though, so people really HAVE to have multiple choice, to avoid human intervention.

My answers:

1.) a parasitic moose head (it's got tentacles around its mouth, nasty!)
2.) two goateed men using some kind of ouija board like device
3.) a scowling bearded man with some weird ornamented hood over his head
4.) two monsters lured by the smell of incense burning on a stand
5.) a giant moth-man
6.) a guy with droopy eyes and a funny hat
7.) two anteaters smoking joints
8.) two elephants standing on their hind legs juggling two spaceships
9.) a hippo wearing one of those Indian turban thingies
10.) a guy with Klansman-looking cape flashing himself (eew!)

Everyone likes you. This is because your life is such a mess that everyone else is relieved they aren't you. You have a positive attitude towards nearly everything, which is incredibly stupid and very annoying to those around you.

Job Performance & Attitude
You hate your job but will never leave it. That's because no one else will hire people whose job skills consist of sleeping and surfing the web. You work very slowly. In fact, if you went any slower you'd be in reverse.

Personality Insight
Your personal motto is "It's better to ask forgiveness than permission." And you would certainly know.

I don't think you need to worry. I once searched for information on the Rorschach inkblot test, and got the impression is has no more validity than horoscopes or interpreting entrails. I didn't bookmark the sites, but found one of them again: link.

Clinical psychology seems to have some relics from times when people believed more in the intuition of their gurus, like Freud and Jung, than in research, double blind tests and statistical analysis. If anyone tried to diagnose me with anything that smells of psychoanalysis, I'd ask for the research demonstrating the validity of the test.

No worries....when looking at GC Mass Spec (lab instrument) which is supposed to show peaks and valley to interpret I've seen what looks to be THE ENTIRE REAGENT CABINET SPILLED! And sometimes that's precisely what happened.

Analyze that...... 8O

That site is funny.

Sometimes I only see ink blots in ink blots, but often I can see pictures in at least part of them and it's fun to see what different people see. I remember seeing an ink blot at the Science Museum and I said it looked like two women at a fountain and my friend said it looked like a velociraptor.
