I can understand the points of views, ie: why you think he shouldn't be extradited to the US but there's one thing to remember. He chose to hack the military HQ of the free world.
I do not believe he did hack the military HQ of the free world. One would think the US had already achieved world domination reading this phrase. I live in a free country, and the US is not the HQ of our military. On the contrary, as a result of exercising our freedom to not have dirty big nuclear ships in our harbors, we no longer retain close military ties with the US.
The US is not the leader of the free world, the HQ of the free world or any other such dribble.

They don't take that kind of thing lightly.
The Hell's Angels do not take it lightly if you report them to the police for illegal activities. That does not make it just or ok for them to punish you for such an act.

If he wanted to stay in the UK, he should have hacked something in the UK.
I disagree. If he wanted to stay in the UK, it should require no more than that he have the legal right to reside there (he does) and he chooses to not leave its borders.

Then he wouldn't have to worry. Instead, he hacked a US military installation. Big mistake on his part.
I am not discussing whether his actions are wise. I am asserting that people who have no democratic representation within a nation, and have never voluntarily stepped foot in that nation, should not be subject to that nation's laws or legal jurisdiction.
