Ignored. I assume this was a serious question. Was it?

Yes, absolutely serious.

I was somewhere where normally I go unnoticed and I suddenly got too much attention that seemed to be more like bullying than anything and I just wish I could have been ignored and in the background like before.

I'd rather be ignored.

I don't even perceive being ignored as an offense. I prefer being ignored to being engaged in mindless conversation or asked stupid questions, or being expected to do something I have no interest in.

Being bullied is by far a bigger problem.

Being ignored is wonderful! :D

Sometimes the way NT's act appears to be so tactless & cruel that it makes many people w/ AS, HFA, etc. look like sympathetic, emotional people  (no offense to emotional aspies).

An example is I knew some NT's who find panic attacks & mental illness to be amusing 8O, BARF  ! (Further explanation would take all day)

Personally I think this is pathetic & it may sound crazy.

p.s. Sorry if I offend anyone or freak someone out :(

That's easy, ignored and luckily for me, that's what happened.

I'd rather be ignored, even deemed invisible or not to exist, than bullied.

I haven't been successfully bullied in about 35 years...;) I'd choose 'none of the above', if I had a choice, but we didn't get that one...;)

Ignored has its benefits, bullied has none...

Ignored has its downsides as well. I got bullied for a long time till i learned to make myself socially invisible, problem is, i can't STOP it now. Hard to make any friends that way, and IMPOSSIBLE to get a date. *shrugs* Life's a b***h i guess.

Being bullied would be better for me. I'm always ignored and it makes me bored and lonely. If someone tried to bully me it'd be a good excuse for me to take out my frustration on that person.

And if I'm bullied in public there's an outside chance that someone might actually come to my defense.

I'll say ignored only because in highschool I tried very hard to be invisible so I wouldn't get bullied. We had a lot of bullies and a**holes in our school.

Ignored. Being left alone is nice.

Ignored. I can't imagine preferring being abused to being left to my own devices. I would get lonely, but as the saying goes, with friends like that, who needs enemies?

Ignored as in not noticed, not included or generally being socially invisible is okay.

Ignored as in being ostracized or given the silent treatment (which are bullying) is not okay.

I have plenty of experience with both, and I definitely prefer to be ignored.
