Like that blogger said, there's so much to say that it's overwhelming. I don't know where to start either. The presentations and other activities were world-class, but the in-between stuff was even better.

My new rant is that EVERYBODY should go. Aspies, Auties, Cousins, whatever you call yourself. If you can't get to something like Autreat or Autscape, find a meet-up or a local support group, or start one. Isolation is evil.

If you think you have some unique disability or limitation, think again. Or ask someone who's been there.

Having attended a few Autreats and Autscapes myself, I agree with you about this.

Finding a local meet-up group is good even if you can get to something like Autreat or Autscape, because events like Autreat or Autscape only happen once a year, while local meet-up groups typically meet at least once a month.
What I dislike about local meet-up groups is that they tend to be very small. I would like them to have at least a few dozens of regular participants. (I guess they could grow to such numbers in the future, at least for those of us who live in/near large metropolitan areas).
