Yes, of course. This explains why Playboy, Penthouse, Hustler, etc, had such short, unprofitable runs.

When I was a young child, one of my favorite things to do was to strip off all of my clothes and then pile up the couch cusions and sit on top of them. I'm not sure how or why these two things were related, but they always occurred together. :?

These days, I have mixed feelings about nudity. Sometimes I sleep nude, but for me wearing briefs is just more comfortable and even makes me feel "sexy."

I don't think I could be nude in mixed company, but perhaps if I were among close friends or someone significant in my life then I wouldn't mind it. Even still, wearing briefs is a lot more comfortable for me.

I can't even be naked in my own house, and it's such a shame.

I've often wondered if you can get the same effect wearing a kilt.

As someone who is used to the difference between normal public nudity and erotic nudity. Normally you dont act like the women in Playboy. If I do my housework at home, the last thing on earth I am thinking of is to pronounce my ass or busens. ^^So you are acting completely normal. Even if you went the first time of your life in a spa it would be easy for you to find the one woman, that maybe has an interest on you. The way people move and act, they way they look.

There are lots of nudity magazines but only few ones acchieve to be famous....the ones that have photograph who have an eye for erotic. Not nudity. Doing a picture of nudity every dork can do. You dont need an expensive specialist therefor. But creating a photograph that inhabits erotic needs a skilled photograph and an acteur.

I am running around at home and in my garden also naked. Still my partner can easily tell, when I am naked, and when I have an erotic interest on him. :)

For what it's worth, widespread nudity would be a big help to some of us with prosopagnosia. It would be that much more non-face data available to help identify people.

But aquiring that data might be awkward... :hmph:

I'm not even sure if it's true, because clothing is also valuable information. During cold months, I can often identify people from behind by looking at their jackets.

It might also help minimize the eye to eye contact that so many of us have problems doing. We'd be looking somewhere else instead.

If everybody ran around naked 24/7, then your eyes would become immune. Playboy gets dull quickly.

You are correct. The porn industry is big business. Still, most people probably do not feel turned on by seeing naked people.

I (almost) entirely agree. I am a bit of a nudist, and have gone to nude beaches quite a bit, as well as partaking in social nudity at friends' homes from time to time. The first time was awkward and embarrassing at first, but that faded after an hour or so. By the third time I went, I was entirely unphased. However, being comfortable with casual nudity hasn't made me immune to enjoying erotic nudity!

Fundamentally, I think we agree, but you are (IMHO) making your statement too broad.

Porn is big business because most people (well, most guys, anyway) DO feel turned on by good looking people engaging in erotic activity while naked. Most people probably do not feel turned on by random, average looking people engaged in non-erotic activity naked.

Great point.

I stand corrected.

I have no problems with being naked, and I am so frequently at my own home. Additionally, I have no problems with being naked among other people, and I cover myself up only because I know people don't like seeing other people naked, generally.

They have, its called a sarong.

I am from the era where nudity among my peers wasn't an issue, we went clothed or not as the mood suited (away from the public).
I still can't get a good nights sleep if I am constricted by clothing.
As time passed, sunburn and insect bites became more annoying outdoors than wearing clothes.
Also my birthday suit needs ironing :D
