Now let's assume that 99 out of every 100 people were born autistic. Who would be the norm now? Socializing would become a disorder. "That sounds crazy," some of you might say. But seriously, if 99/100 of people were autistic, it would be considered normal, and being NT would be recognized in the books as a disorder. It is the majority that becomes the norm. Personally, being autistic myself, I don't find the ASD term with "disorder" too insulting to me. I voted that I didn't care either way.
