I use a Palm PDA. Sometimes an alarm with a message is what I use. Sometimes I use a program I added to the Palm which not only lets me create and retrieve checklists, the checklists get shorter as I do each thing and tap on it. Then, when I need to use the list again, it has all the items to check off again. Other times a strategically placed note is the most effective reminder.

Most PDA's are no longer made now that Smartphones have become so popular. You can still get them second hand, often at a cheap price via EBay.

I usually write notes to myself, and then place them like under my watch so there's no mistake that I'll forget the next morning. Or I go by the moon. Like if it's a full moon out, that means I should send a payment or something. I kind of try to make things routine.
