Had someone say "Ohhh everybody has a bit of ocd" and I wanted to say...way to trivialize my condition...now that you say everyone else has ocd I can get over it right?

wish I could show this thread to my dear family member, a specialist in disability, whose response to my diagnosis, is
"but we are all on the spectrum aren't we?"..

erm.. No... ?

Logically we can't all be, otherwise there would be more of us in work, and not so much discrimination, and not so much of a need to explain why we can't do stuff like sit under a fluorescent light in "teams", tolerate ignorance with a smile, and commute for hours a day in overcrowded public transport.....

or is it just me? Am I being "special" ?
