Ever been called lazy?

My father calls me lazy. I'm not. Laziness is when you can do things without significant pain/exhaustion, but you can't be bothered. It's not laziness if you genuinely can't do something, or if doing it would hurt you.

My best friend called my lazy. She is no longer my best friend.
The appearance of laziness is a problem with autistics for two reasons. We continually process everything so our brains are always running on high booster, which takes a lot of energy, thus we are always tired. And secondly, we have so much to do and think about that some of the daily tasks that some people think are necessary are insubstanial in our priorities. Why make more work for ourselves.

I used to get called lazy. Mind you back in those days I'd sit in front of the TV all day in my pajamas. These days I'm more active but still have executive functioning problems.

Everyone who knows me refers to me as "lazy" all because they have no idea what things are really like for me. I know I come across as lazy to them, but I also know that I'm not.

There was a teacher I had for 2 years in high school. He would call on me, and whether I got the question right or wrong he would say: "You see class, Mr. GuyTypingOnComputer is very smart, but very, very lazy."
