What kinda insects do you like and dislike?

Wouldn't a better title be "What arthropods do you like/dislike?"

butterflies. Yes, Ron's follow the butterflies....

There was this Butterfly garden in Victoria, that we went into, my mom and brother went through fine. My pops and I were doing the bugaloo dance (it's like a jig, except it's not fun and it looks like you're being tasered trying to get out). Then there's a video game Demento (Haunting grounds) an survior horror game where you play a blond girl, where you wander in a basement or something and all these moths attack you.... See Butterflies are dangerous.

While camping in Alberta you'll come across these tiny spiders, they're harmless, but for city dewellers all of those creppy crawlies look suspect. Besides Spiders do that thing with their legs! Who knows if it's poisonous or not. Black Windows of California sure are!

Insects I like: butterfly
giant insects that you see in exotic countries
preying mantis
ant
the ones that look like leaves

Insects I don't like:
moths
daddylong legs (the ones with wings, not the spiders.)
wasps and bees

Other arthropods that I like: spiders
tarantulas
crabs

There aren't many small arthropods that I don't like. I've been interested in insects ever since I was 10, but Coleoptera (beetles) and Lepidoptera (butterflies and moths) have to be my favourites. i also have a soft spot for earwigs and stoneflies; both are very underrated insects in my opinion.

some of my favourites are definitely beetles, dragonflies, catterpillars, butterflies and moths, ladybugs, bluebottles, praying mantis, grasshoppers (i used to spend hours with my siblings in the garden trying to catch them!) bumblebees, pillbugs, money spiders.. absolutely tons, i can't even remember half of them.

what i don't like so much are big, thick, hairy spiders or really big spindly ones (the kind that always hang in the corners of rooms) and ones that look like they can hurt you and move really fast (earwigs/mosquitoes) but i can deal with them if i have to.

i must add though that i absolutely abhor wasps and hornets. just thinking about them gives me shivers down my spine. i once caught a hornet in my room (even though i was ready to pass out, i was the only one at home and i couldn't bear to just leave it there) and although i was terrified of it, at the same time because i'd caught it in a plastic box and knew it couldn't get to me i actually became fascinated by looking at it in such close detail. then as soon as my dad got home i made him take it outside and release it as far away from the house as possible!!

Same here the amount of times I've ran and screamed when I've seen a moth in my room or in the house I feel like I'm going to get a heart attack.

I don't really like bugs but moths and butterflies are the only ones i really dislike.
