Prove that it's a scam.

Prove that it's a scam.

prove that it isent a scam

Actually, you are the one who initiated the accusation, so the burden of proof is on you. Also, you're just derailing the thread and turning it into an argument, you are not helping anyone. You've already posted that you think it is a scam, further repetition of that statement is unnecessary.

You are the one making all the claims. If you say that this categorically is a scam, then you must have proof. Otherwise you have a suspicion. Unless you can prove that suspicion correct, then you are not telling the truth, your statements are not true.

my proof is that there is no proof that he is not scamming folk, and its the internet

That's not proof, that's a set of beliefs.

You won't strengthen your argument by being silly.

That's not called proof. That is called an assumption or inference, which is no better than a guess. So, people don't agree with you, do you think repeating yourself over and over is going to change their mind? Last time I checked going "yes huh" when they say "nuh uh" doesn't win an argument.

and going 'nuh uh' when i say 'yes huh' wont work either

Good thing I'm not doing that then. No one wants to argue with you, they want you to be quiet and stop derailing this topic, and the other one Seanmw started about his website. But after seeing that one I can tell you just want to troll both topics, so you have fun with that.

LeekDuck,

Go do some research on logical fallacies cause you're full of them.

Now Sean has been here since 2009 and has almost 2000 unique posts. That's a heck of feat to go through just to initiate a scam.
And if you look at the thread in question, it was Hale Bopp who suggested the donation. She's been here far longer and is a webmaster and would have a lot to lose if she was initiating a scam. Odds are, it's not a scam.

So like it was said before, the burden of proof is on you if think it's a scam. Asking for negative proof and appealing to ignorance doesn't defend your position.

how much is he short ? i will give him some money if it is that serious.

A plane ticket is about 300 dollars, plus the chemotherapy and treatment for his girlfriend. I can cover his food and living expenses if he wants though, so he doesn't have to worry about that.

:? I am a bit confused by this post. The OP didn't mention anything about anyone covering this girl's medical expenses. I'm assuming that is covered by her insurance and/or family. Nor did she say anything about covering his food and lodging expenses while he visits her. Did you PM Sean or Hale Bopp and did either one say anything about needing assistance with anything other than travel expenses?
