I had dreams where I had one ugly smile and horrible set of teeth. Maybe some fell out but I had swollen gums, gaps and decay everywhere. Plaque, tartar, name it. Yuch.

I used to be obsessed with how straight my teeth were. In fact, I wanted to get braces a SECOND time! 8O

Now I've been able to realize that my thoughts regarding this are irrational and I don't focus on how straight my teeth are (they are very straight however... thats what made it easier for me to realize that this obsession was irrational).

I have a slight obsession with teeth, partly becuase mine have been such a lifelong problem and partly becuase of the asperger thing where you look at someone's mouth when they talk instead of their eyes (like lipreading), so you're looking at people's teeth all the time. I used to have scary dreams about teeth a lot.

There's a really grisly Edgar Allen Poe story about teeth, "Berenice" I think he must've been slightly teeth (and other things) obessive too.

I drink lots of milk and eat lots of cheese, have inherited strong tooth enamel from my paternal grandfather and am obsessive about brushing my teeth. Consequently I've never had a cavity. I was, however, very slow to lose my first teeth- I didn't lose the last ones till I was almost fifteen, and that's not counting the two that were impacted and for which I had to have surgery.

I've always had perfect teeth. My saliva is apparently exceptionally good or something like that.

I was born with a couple enamel defects. It was probably caused by another condition I have called celiac disease though. Other than that my teeth have been pretty good to me.

When I was in elementary school the other children teased me by calling me Bucky Beaver because of my overbite and extraordinary large teeth! I was told that I needed braces and my jaw reset! Instead, we did nothing and today my teeth are strong, white and near perfect! The overbite is still present but I've learned to hold my lower jaw forward a bit until it became second nature. My son's teeth are much like mine were but he doesn't seem to be growing into them like I did! He may need the braces.

Most aspies are lucky to have any teeth at all by adulthood. That is a proven scientific FACT backed up by several decades of research.

Lots of fillings for me. Plus I've got a big crack on one of my front teeth (hit with a golf club). I'm getting better with the whole dental hygine thing ever since i went to college tho, course I also drink alot more soft drinks now so I guess it kinda balances out.

My teeth are fine, because I drink plenty of milk every day and make sure I always spend at least 10 minutes a day photosynthesising, even if that means just reading a book outside until time is up. And I've just brushed my teeth with my electric toothbrush, with toothpaste and sodium bicarbonate just in case.
