Hmm...I'll have to try that, never really put to much thought into fixing it but if it's that simple.....thanks for the tip.

Ya I love building computers, never made me any money (Except I built one for a guy and made $50) but I was able to break even and continue building computers. (Until I like an idiot traded my last one for items....did get some useful stuff but I don't think it was a good trade- PS3 which I sold, PS3 games which I sold, A decent samsung digital camera, lots of blu rays, GPS- haven't used it, umm...that's about it i think)

Have you played the game yet? Seems pretty hard, I haven't finsihed it yet.

That's pretty awesome though 5-600 when it's finished...atleast some money to invest in something new you can work on and just keep building up to bigger and better. Most business's start as loss in the beginning anyways...or if it's a hobby seems like it's alright to break even.

I used to use ebay alot, but built up some debt and don't use credit cards any longer though that was in highschool- might be ok to open up one now but still hesitent.

I might start up the computer building again over at college, seems like there should be a good market over there for computers and I have a good disk I can mass install windows 7 with so...we'll see though don't want to build a bunch of computers nobody wants.

Hmm... I don't think I've ever built/taken apart the same thing over and over. Do you ever get bored of building computers or is it like the first time every time? Do you sell them on craigslist or what? Do you have any other fixation like this that you do too? That really does sound sweet to do what you like without ever running out of money.

Umm.. I played the game a little. I made it past the first boss and then I didn't know what to do. I usually end up buying a bunch of games like this and never playing/finishing them. I don't really know why.

Yeah, I guess I got lucky with this one. A got a good deal on the empty cocktail cabinets and found all the parts really cheap. Most people on the forums I go too put a lot of money into theirs. I feel like it would be more rewarding if I could build a arcade machine that I actually like next time. Like a Neo-Geo...

The Sega Genesis? I used to love playing Comix Zone on that thing. That's one of the only systems I don't have, I've been wanting it for a while though. I just always seem to be spending money. I just stick to Debit. I know if I had a credit card that I would be in so much debt by now.

About a year ago one of my friend's dad gave me a bunch of old/broken computers that I fixed up by mixing and matching parts I ended up with 2 good working computers. But after that I couldn't find anything to do with them, in fact, they're still sitting in my closet. lol. Either way, it was fun putting them together.

I love building computers...its never the same because you have to pick new/different parts each time and new stuff is always coming out. I like putting it all together seeing it all fit in there, and seeing the finished product up and running. Usually when repairing computers I just try and put the latest OS on there, makes everything so much more simpler though I know I won't be able to do that in a business setting where everyone is running XP. Windows 7 is pretty good at runnin with low specs. Ya I usually sell my computers on craigslist, mark it to what I'd like to get...but usually end up breaking even.

Ya, makes it alot better if your working with something you can be enthused about playing with when it's all done.

Never played ComicZone before...used to play a game where there was a robot, a women and a fat guy who had back packs like the ghost busters but they were fighting aliens with those lazer things. Always forget the name though, would buy a sega just to play that game.

I only have an atm card, which I made it that way on purpose. I buy visa gift cards if I need to make a purchase online so I don't have any contracts or possibility that I will go crazy spending.

I have alot of computer parts as well, though I have thrown some stuff away for the move.

I'm in a similar situation to yours. On my end, it's that I've always felt different, abnormal, and not known what the hell was wrong with me. I was doing online research about Asperger's after I found out that a family member was dx'ed with it, and things started fitting together. A LOT of things. It was kind of overwhelming.

But I feel okay being here. Quite a few people around here are self-dx'ed, I believe, so welcome, hang out a while!

(By the way, if you haven't done this already, go into the articles list, look for the old "Ask Aspie" columns; they're fantastic.)
