The Christian god is omnipotent and omnipresent, so he absolutely would have control over how our brains were wired.

In fact, that is certainly not the purpose of Aspies.

Luke 18:9-14

The Christians here should pray for Corp900's priest, as well as for Corp900.

@Callista, I never noticed that before, but you're absolutely right. That's a really important point.

I believe in God but I don't think he has that much control over us. Or if he wants to. My mum prayed for me to live. God answers prayers but doesn't decide who will be autistic or NT. He doesn't even use those terms.

I don't believe in God like a father, I think he does everithing but take care of us. Some things cannot be controlled... are you able to avoid to crush any bug when you walk?
It's something like that...

Corp900 kicks off dozens of threads but then never bothers participating in any. The way they discuss their problems doesn't even feel genuine. It comes across as clichéd and manufactured.

I have to add: stop to consider priests as an authority. They know what we also know, but they take advantage of us faking as they had the truth. NTs need religion to live with their fears. NTs also have fears, they mainly can't tolerate death because it shows they are not the centre of universe.
Why should autie/aspie people try to comply with that? I don't have religious feelings and don't understand why others have and are so sure that priests tell the truth.
Religious feelings are not related with logic, when you have questions like this to ask you don't have religious feelings. I have friends who have faith and I noticed that when we talk about religion they are disconnected from logic thinking.
They have no need to ask because they know the answer.
Are you aspies/auties able to do this?

Unless I post in them, because my mindset is the polar opposite. I don't try to rub it in his face either. I speak my mind here. Why would I do any different if I feel like posting in one of his posts. I admit that there was one time that I told him to pull him up by his bootstraps and another time that I've posted what used to be my #1 song, just to show him how he was coming acrossed to me that I got in trouble by another member for. Those were just two times.

I'm confused. I don't understand what you have just said or why you quoted me there...

I have to agree. It's odd that the OP doesn't follow up in the threads. I've answered the pleas for help several times and there's been zero response. I'm done now.

I am a theist, (please do not equate this with contemporary Christianity). You would find that I am far more rational about my theism than many atheists are about their non-belief. I am not trying to start an argument, I only offer this as a counter point to your statements that seem to associate religious ideas to NTs and that something about autistic neurology makes such thinking difficult.

You need to kick that priest square in the balls. You also need to tell that priest he is here to sodomize children and leech off hard working people for his living like a f*****g parasite. :x People ask me why I am an athiest and you have shown the reason why.

I have to admit my ignorance about teists. Yes, I wondered if you have religious ideas. Somehow I have religious ideas, but I can't define them. I'm something like a pagan but also this definition doesn't fit. I'm a weird NT.

Theist is just a generic term for one that believes is some form of god. A pagan is even a form of theist (usually multiple gods or nature as god). I drive atheists crazy because I understand the rational basis of their non-belief but do not agree with it. I think that religion as practiced today is so filled with contradictions and sometimes just pure nonsense that it is very difficult to not simply discard the entire thing as bollocks.

OK, I'm a theist too, I feel nature as God. But these are ideas, not feelings. I know it rationally.

Who... who who who!

I thought it was funny. Also yes, I believe the OP made up this story about the priest. There's a solid 'ting' of inauthenticity when I strike it.
