I consider myself to a pretty happy person. I do what I enjoy and I enjoy what I do. Life can be pretty awesome, in my opinion.

I sometimes get upset when I realize I don't have much of a social network or when I notice how few friends I really have. But in general, I'm happy to be who I am. I wouldn't want to be anyone else.

 Oh yes. Most of my happiest times have been spent closely watching nature in action, but people just say things like "Meh, they're only ants - what's the big attraction?"
 Only ants farming aphids?! How could they not be interesting?

I have a really old house in various stages of being remodeled. One old wall attracted a colony of honey bees. I worried way to much about having to kill the colony when I would finally get around to repairing that part of the house. Fortunately for me, the left during the very spring I started on that part. It was quite strange. I suspect the fell victim to colony collapse.

Ooh, ants and bees! My ' special interest' in bugs led me to join an urban beekeeping group a few years ago, they're fascinating little critters. coincidentally, this introduced me to some of the nicest, most accepting people I' ve met in my whole adult life...

If you come across another colony you might be able to find a local beekeeping group to remove it for you..."homegrown" honey is extra satisfying :D

Well, I can't say I am happy of having Asperger's; even if my parents gave me love and tried to make me gain self-esteem, I'm not happy with the fact I have AS, though I know I could have something worse, like schizophrenia or bipolarism. I don't think I have some very special talents, though people say I'm good at drawing and I'm good at science, but nothing special.
However, I'm happy of the fact that I'm learning how to fight the bad symptoms of Asperger's, and I'm improving very much. And my life at the moment is quite ok.
