Not that I'm aware of. Some lobby groups may complain, but it's nothing official or legally binding. What I was alluding to by "hormonal" was the idea of chemically or psycholgically programming people to be attracted to other races (and NO I was NOT serious!!)...

Racism can be a problem, if we know scientifically why racism exists then it wouldn’t be such a big problem. Thousands of years all the religions of the world could not explain it. So come to the conclusion that if man really wanted to stamp out racism they would already have done so. It is much more easier to understand racism scientifically then it is to take man to the moon.
I think people are attracted to races with whom they are most familiar with. That isn't necessarily their own race.
I am still waiting for sweetpraline to explain why she thinks she should stay away from me. I think this is a simple misunderstanding but it can't be resolved if I'm the only one talking.

You yourself admitted in an earlier post that you are racist. And agree that it is okay to discriminate against people. So as a Black person, I would stay away from somebody like you because chances are you don't like me anyway.
Sigholdaccountlost, another poster has decided that because some Black kids in his class was acting up, he is angry at the entire Black race. So when he says he dislikes the entire Black race, that includes me. Yet he doesn't even know me.
Since I know how the two of you feel about Black people. Don't post anything to me. I won't post anything to you and there won't be any problems.
Yes, I said I was racist because I'm generally not attracted to women not from my own ethnic group. Most, if not all people are racist in this way since they are mostly exposed to a particular ethnic group, and over time become most comfortable with that group. You yourself said you were racist since you have a preference for black men. This sort of discrimination is fine because it doesn't hurt anyone in the big scheme of things.
I suppose I am being overly pedantic in using the words 'racism' and 'discrimination' strictly by their denotative meaning, since most people use them in a political context. So I apologise if this has led you to believe that I am either racist or discriminatory, in a hateful manner.
Yeh, I'm sterotyping, because in my class, for the moment, the sterotype is true.
The way I see it, sigholdaccountlost understands intellectually that believing other races are inherently inferior is folly, yet he acknowledges the irrational bias he has, which has come from repeated experiences with people of other races. He's also pointed out that he knows this stereotype is just a stereotype, and not something that is necessarily true for all cases.
I don't think it's necessary to hate him because of that. Let's say you put a black kid into a neighbourhood with many white people, and they were all thugs and criminals. There would be one black person who would take care of him during this time.
Now, leave him there for a few years, take him out again and throw him into a new environment in which there's lots of white people again, except this time they're all really nice guys, no criminals. He's going to have to take some time to adjust and take control of his irrational fear of those white people. He might even understand in his head that the white people don't want to hurt him, but nevertheless the fear will probably persist for some time. Now, would you say it'd be fair for the white people to hate this guy, just because he'd come from an environment where he'd learnt white people were bad?
Things are not so clear cut when you consider a situation from the other person's perspective.

Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! I never said I was racist because I prefer Black men. I never said I was a racist. Just because I prefer Black men does not mean I dislike white men or white people for that matter.
It was just that when you admitted that you were a racist and sigholdaccount lost said he disliked the entire black race because the black kids in his class were acting up. As a black person reading this, I felt like I was at a Ku Klux Klan rally.
I'm white and i fancy very few white women (those i do fancy are almost invariably dark haired, i think i've only ever found one blonde woman attractive, and even then her colouring looked "unhealthy" to me). The vast majority of the women i fancy are Black or South Asian/Middle Eastern descent. Does this make me racist against my own race?
IMO, as long as you can separate whether you find a person attractive from how you treat them as a person (which most Aspies, being logical rather than instinctive thinkers, do better than NTs IMO), then it no more makes you racist to fancy people of only one "race" (which is a scientifically suspect category anyway, and in this context doesn't mean much more than skin/hair phenotype) than it makes you sexist to only fancy people of one sex...
I did go thru a period of hanging out with a crowd in which bisexuality was the norm and people were considered prejudiced or narrow-minded for being exclusively heterosexual... but IMO, you're not in conscious control of who you do or don't find attractive, so it isn't logical to consider someone prejudiced because of that alone, unless there is other evidence of prejudice...

If it's entirely physical, then you're not racist man (unless you're one of those creepy racial fetishists that decides "maybe I shall go for a mail-order-bride"). Don't start doubting yourself now.
I'm sorta indifferent to race to be honest. Is it too hard to find a cute girl that won't be overly critical of my videogaming/anime/miniatures/SCA interests?

Never mind, forget I said anything. It seems people misinterpret my meaning.
Let me explain myself. I got dragged to Devon before I could.
Points
1) I am not old enough to have a lawful realtionship with teachers or people in a poision of trust. (all of the regular teachers/ SEN people I find very nice and there are plenty of black/coloured/ other ethnecities on that staff on them)
2)This topic was about relationships so I responded purely in that context.
3)Due to bitter experience, I tend to hate everyone until I know them.
4) The bullying and such like was the main basis for 3) and the white students did get punished.
5) Whereas the white students did get punished, the others cried racism and then got off free and I got punished, because I defended myself.
6) Whoever said it's dangerous thinking, nope, I don;t know you so I hate you. I do that to everyone. Dangerous thinking is placing your trust in someone when you don't know them. I learnt that at 8.
7) There's a lot of things you can call me but ignorant isn't one of them. I'm a Kempstonian. Very multiculrtrual.

Thank you enigmatic_oddity, for pointing that stuff out while I was in Devon. There was no internet access there really so I couldn't do it myself.
I understand that it's irrational. I know it's irrational. I'm working on it. But it's not something that I can just snap out of.
Repeated experience of minorites (easier but not really accurate for Kempston) coupled with the way the system needed to handle the incident soured me a bit there.
When an Kempstonian (multi-cultrual town) aspie raised in a very anti-discriminination family has these problems, it can't be too good.
