I hope this next comment doesn't offend anyone, because it may come across as sexist... but, I think with females there is a lot more leeway for social awkwardness. Guys who are awkward come across as creepy and that destroys their chances, but with girls it's more accepted. So female ASDers may find it much easier to initiate a relationship with an NT than male ASDers.

Check out my IMDB page!unfortunately you are not the sexist one society is. girls and guys have different characteristics assigned to them and if anyone act even a little out of sync with these stereotypes they are judged harshly. AS traits are seen as a little more acceptable in females.
