I really like W.P., and am glad I joined. I did not know you were N.T. lol As far as time differences, it is currently 3:52 P.M. here. When I say American authors are no good, I mostly mean modern day writers. Older books either do not interest me or the generation gap between modern English and the author's English is too great for me to understand half of what's going on.

What brings you to W.P., readingbetweenlines, since you're N.T.?

It's late evening here just now. This post is probably something WP would want people to do in personal messages but I haven't tried them yet and am unsure whether I like the idea of PMs.

WP appeals for several reasons. I have two family members who are somewhere on the spectrum. Plus I'm pretty unsociable (as I have said in another post, at the introvert end of introvert), with some social anxiety, so share some "traits" as some people call it, and find it relaxing to be in amongst people who are not the life and soul of the party. I spend a lot of energy trying to fit in with the social demands of the workplace and it is really exhausting.

Well, then, the good news is that, if nowhere else, you can begin to meet and form relations with people here. I wish you good luck in that and, if you ever want someone to talk to, don't hesitate to ask people here or use the chat function (in IRC).

Blue and Orange, glad you like my signature - it's American Literature! Well, of sorts. I wouldn't recommend the whole book.

I hope you can come to some conclusion about what you want to do about guy1.
