I'd be somewhat curious to see how important people judge IQ compared to what their IQ is.

My own IQ is somewhat important to me, but I don't look down (or up, for that matter, especially if they're being jerks about it) on other people because of their IQ. I'm fully aware that I often appear plain out stupid to people even though I have a high (but not exceptional) IQ, because of my social traits and "slowness" when it comes to understanding what other people say in some situations. I'm also aware that conditions during the tests affect results, as I've had wildly different results depending on whether I had a good day or not.

IQ surely reflects intelligence of a person to a certain extent, however it can only give a general idea. Lets assume A has an IQ of 160 and B has 70. In this scenario it is clear: A is smarter. However, it is not that obvious when comparing two people with IQ scores of 140 and 160.

In addition, psychological conditions are very important. One may have higher levels of anxiety while taking the test. One other may be uninterested with the test. These conditions would surely have an impact on the results.

IQ reflects something about intelligence level, but its boundaries are not crystal clear IMHO.
